Oh goodness! It's my last full day on the North Island of New Zealand ... it's gone so quickly and has been a BLAST!

So - awoke after another lovely sleep at Mollies. Once again, the sun is shining and the sky is blue. There is a mist over the harbour and the bridge looks like it's floating ...

Drive up to Orakei - 30 minutes from the hotel - to Kelly Tarlton's Antartic Encounter & Underwater World. Meet up with Steve Eveny - the head dive master. The centre opened in 1985 ... with the world's first underwater glass tunnel walkway. It has many species here - with penguins, sharks, rays ... and lots more! After a quick refresher, I hopped into the NZ tank for a dive about before entering the shark tank - with its 22 sharks! They weren't hungry ... but nudged me to say hello! It's a wonderful experience! A MUST on visiting Auckland! A total MUST!

Back at Mollies and we met up with Dan Kemp - wine expert and buyer for Mollies. We tasted a couple of wines ... with the 2005 Providence Matakana my absolute favourite! Around £160/US£250 a bottle - but an awesome syrah! It's my birthday soon ..... (haha)!

So - tonight it's opera night at Mollies ... so La Boheme here I come ...
