Last time I was in LA, the good people of California were burying Michael Jackson. Weeks on, the news is STILL Michael Jackson! For a state in the debt that it is and the fires - surely there MUST be something more important to report???
Customs at LAX is still brutally long.
It's still 1st September ... but in 12 hours, it will be the 3rd!
Flight over was quite fun. The crew on Air New Zealand ARE the BEST! Also, my childhood pin-up Cathy Dennis was sitting just a few seats away from me. She still looks yummy!
