0500 - awake and jump about my huge room! the views over the St Lawrence River are awesome. the sun is shining! quite unexpectedly ...

0700 - breakfast ... yum ...

0800 - film drive up to Auberge Saint Antoine. this 95 bedroom property is quite a historic one. It "originates" in 1687 and has been the site of a canon battery, warehouse, glass factory and finally was bought by the current owners in 1989 and turned into this quite stunning hotel. it is situated in Quebec City's Old Port area ... in the shadow of Chateau Frontenac ...

I met up & interviewed one of the owners Evan Price ... and jolly nice fellow who explained about how the hotel was built and how it is now decorated with hundreds of artefacts that were found during the excavation ...

1000 - under the expert guidance of Ingrid Lemm (Marketing & Sales) the boys then filmed the hotel while I tootled off for a massage! I had the Amma - the traditional oil-free Japanese massage! very nice indeed!

1400 - after a quick lunch, i met up with chef Francois Blais from Panache - the top rated restaurant in Quebec. We cooked a duck dish and a fabulous scallop appetiser ...

1600 - suite review ... more on that tomorrow! The heavens have opened! RAIN RAIN RAIN! Yuk ...

A long but fruitful day ...
