Greetings from the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on the Palm Jumeirah ...

Today has been resort filming day ... BUT I need to tell you all about yesterday ... Diwali ... and another lovely Inside Luxury Travel day!

We were up early and driven to the Burj Al Arab ... one of the most recognisable hotels in the world. It's quiet busy so we were there to avoid the guests ...

We headed up to the Sky View on the 27th Floor ... to meet with mixologist ... Guru Naik.

He mixed me "Diamonds are Forever" ... sugar cube, cognac (1906), champagne (Luxor which contains 24k gold leaf) & bitters ... it costs $1600 a glass ... yes ... £1000 ... it tasted rather good.

From there we sadly bade farewell to Armani and said hello to Jumeirah Zabeel Saray on the Palm ... a man-made island ...

We popped round the corner to the Atlantis The Palm to meet my old friend Maraika and Rob Bennett - who heads up the "large exhibits". The resort has a HUGE fish tank ... HUGE ... called the Ambassador Lagoon ... which looks like a huge underwater city ...

I had one of my greatest dives ever down here ... feeding the rays and sharks ... and dancing with the guests in the windows ...

Song of the Day: Wanna Be Starting Something - Michael Jackson (yes, really)

Film of the Day: The Big Blue - Luc Besson

The HIGHLIGHT of my day ... apart from ALL the lovely Diwali messages (thank you) was standing on the helipad of the Burj ... sadly without a golf club ...!
