Day 3 - Munich, Germany

The number 1 golf company in the world is Titliest ... and I am pleased & proud to announce that Titliest is the latest luxury brand to join up with Inside Luxury Travel. OK - so sets of new clubs, balls and merchandise will not help my game ... but I will look damn good doing it!

It's been a miserable weather day! Cold, dark and VERY wet ...

The day started off in the hotel bakery where I learnt how to make "pretzels" ... or "brezn". Pretzels are part of the staple diet of Germany and are eaten at breakfast, lunch and dinner. More pretzels are devoured per capita in Germany than anywhere in the world. In the Bayerischer Hof, pretzels are free ... they do make you thirsty as they are quite salty ... so you drink more beer! Ha!

As the rain slopped down, we headed off to Eichenried - the home of the BMW Open Golf tournament. Here I met with golf-pro Mark Stevenson, Korbinian Kofler (Director of Golf) and Laurence Brandon (club fitter extraordinaire) .... to spend the afternoon learning about golf in Germany, fitting me with some new clubs and playing the course! The weather was horrible ... but who cares, I was on a golf course!!!

Back home, it was dinner at Trader Vic's in the hotel ... cocktails, dinner and fabulous company!
With Sunny, Eichenried's resident pooch!
Fabulous service at the hotel ... gorgeous pooch going for a walk in the rain ... canine guests are valued guests!
With Mr Brezn - Dirk Matschke ... and some more weiss bier!
The G-Man, Mark & et moi - three of the winning team from my jaunt to St Moritz last year! GREAT memories and a fabulous day playing the course today!
Laurence looks on ... which shaft? which head? He knows the answers!
As requested - a pic of the Elizabeth Taylor's shoes in my suite!
