It's never the journey ... it's always the destination.

London on a Bank Holiday is a nightmare ... as the trains, underground, buses, cabs and roads are "subject to engineering works". SO - it took me 90 minutes to get to Canary Wharf - a journey that usually takes 15!

I am here - though - in the best suite at The Four Seasons, Canary Wharf. This week we are filming in London ... an Inside Luxury Travel "special" on Canary Wharf/London Eastside ... in anticipation of the new BA all-business route from New York to London City Airport that launches later this year.

The suite features a dining room, kitchen, enormous lounge, bedroom and HUGE bathroom! The views are stunning - below is the River Thames and to my right "central" London and to the left Eastside ... at this time of the evening when the lights are up, my hometown looks stunning.

Long day tomorrow, so it's time for a snack and then bed ...
