Yesterday in Lisbon we picked up some final shots - the Tomb of Vasco de Gama and Estrella Garden - and we flew back to London ... tired but content. It's been a tough episode to film for one reason or another. The two hotels - Ritz (Four Seasons) and Penha Longa (Ritz-Carlton) are both superb ... great staff, great food, great locations, great facilities and great PRs ... and the city is so full of things to do & see ...
Yes, I did enjoy driving a Porsche around Estoril BUT my highlights were the visit to the Maritime Museum at the Jeronimo Monastery... Sintra (Pena Palace and especially Quinta de Regaleira) and dining at Porto de Santa Maria in Cascais ... delightful memories!
