Today was the day we filmed the hotel.
The hotel filming day is always (for us as a crew) a true test of the hotel, however, today ran incredibly efficiently. We filmed significantly more than we usually would, mainly because the property has so much that can be filmed!
In one day we managed to film
- A Drive up
- Varun interviewing the GM
- Varun cooking with the executive chef
- The Shots of the (huge) Property, the pool, restaurants etc.
- Varun's room review
- A sunset meal
- A sunset
- A torch lighting
This sounds like a large amount to film and it was but it was stress free.
We will be up late packing the kit and preparing the tapes ready for shipping back to the UK.
We travel for the next two days and will be sad to leave Hawaii, everyone we have met at Halekulani Hotel and Four Seasons Maui at Wailea have been awesome. We will miss you!
