We have just arrived in Papeete and tomorrow head off to Bora Bora.
After a lovely morning with Darling Jen in Los Angeles, I was once again at LAX for the eight hour flight to French Polynesia. The airline, Air Tahiti Nui, was new to me … and although the onboard “product” is not the greatest out there, the service was faultless and genuine. ATU has only been running since 1998 and has a fleet of just 5 aircraft for international flights …
Arrival at Faa’a Airport was colourful and noisy … we were presented with garlands of flowers …
So it’s 11 pm now and we have to be up & out by 6 am … time for bed methinks.
