Varun will be taking a break from his Daily Diary for a few days, he has entrusted this responsibility with his crew, Tim and James.

Aloha from the crew.

After a hearty breakfast, we headed to Ali'i Kula Lavender Farm. We met with Ali'i who is the owner, founder and Customer Joy Specialist at the Farm. After we sampled his fantastic lavender tea, he showed us around his farm, the smell of Lavender was intoxicating. He has been growing lavender on site since 2001.

After Varun bought some luxury toiletries including shampoo for his puppy, we met with ukulele expert Uluwehi Guerrero. The location was at one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Hawaii, with many surfers enjoying the waves. Uluwehi has been playing ukulele for over 40 years and gave Varun his first lesson. Although Varun's ukulele skill is questionable, he did learn a traditional ukulele piece and picked it up VERY quickly. Needless to say, we were impressed.

We are filming the Island tomorrow so we will be up early to catch the best light.
