Was PRAYING for rain so I wouldn't have to play cricket - BUT guess what - while the rest of the world was being lashed ... it was dry here. So - armed with a wee hangover and droopy eyes, I stepped onto the cricket pitch at 1 pm. We lost - BUT I smashed two fours and got a wicket with my first ball! ha! I am now totally exhausted and walking like a lame duck. I was hit by a ball in the ... erm ... nether regions - which was and still is rather painful ... ouch!
