Wake at 2.59 am ... back hurting. Muscle spasm.
Up at 3 am to leave the hotel to arrive at Temecula by 5 am. Temecula is an Indian word meaning "sun that shines through the mist". Hook up with David Bradley at California Dreamin ... which runs hot air balloon rides and bi-plane trips too.
We took a hot air balloon ride around the vineyards of Temecula. It was brilliant! It's just so peaceful ...
We then visited two of these vineyards - South Coast Winery and then Leonesse to try whites & reds with wine-gurus Jon McPherson and Tim Kramer respectively. Sadly, I was driving - so little drinking.
Drive back to San Diego and the hotel. Olivia Noelle Divine - the masseuse from yesteray - spent an hour making my back & neck less painful. It worked!
Dinner with Joe from the San Diego Tourist Board ... it's now 930 pm ... I crave sleep.
