0800 – Arrive at Ocean Park … ½ an hour from The Peninsula. For the next two hours, I just smile because I have fun with two girls – Hatty & Maya. They are a couple of bottlenose dolphins … OP has a successful captive breeding programme and for those who think that zoos are “bad places”, if its not for the research scientists at places like OP, we would lose whole species …
I was not in a class … it was just me and the two gorgeous ones. I am totally in love … and I think they love me too!
1100 – Head down to near the airport to jump on Grand Cru – the Grand Hyatt’s yacht for a cruise back through the harbour to the hotel. The yacht has a Jacuzzi in the back and excellent staff … we cruise for 2 hours in the glorious sunshine! EXCELLENT
1430 – Arrive at the GH and jump into their “black cab” and head to Pier 9 for a crazy afternoon. It’s called Seafari … www.seafari.com.hk .. It’s a rib that can carry 12 passengers at great speeds executing whippy turns and amazing stunts while listening to loud music. Jake – the GREATEST concierge in Hong Kong – arranged for a full boat (of lovely ladies!) and we went crazy for a couple of hours. This IS a winner … better than a helicopter ride as you can see much more detail and have a “history & geography” as well from Clive the owner. It’s terrific fun…
1700 – End the day at The Peak for some great shots of Hong Kong…
WHAT A DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s a wrap …! Off to Tokyo tomorrow – armed with a fabulous show from HK and just fantastic memories…
BIG, BIG, BIG “thank you” to Shevaun, Nicola, Gladis, Lamey and Jake … and everyone else who made the stay just so perfect…
