Why is the "song of the day" at the top of the diary? Well .. today I visited a real "ghost town" ... London! I joke not - the shopping streets were deserted ... the Underground was empty ... there were queues of cabs - with drivers looking bored and miserable ... but the worst part was that the shops were devoid of customers ... more staff than anything ...
I had a grand day though ...
Started the Toronto episode edit with Oli - lunch at Zedel (the "new" Wolesley") with Louis, General Manager of the soon-to-be-opened Cafe Royal (hotel) ... a cheeky cigar and a large glass of Pimms ...
