My last day in Oman was brilliant!

0645 - Breakfast with the boys

0815 - We head off to the Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club - 15 minutes from The Chedi. Meet up with Leon Sassen, golf pro. The course will be fully open in 3 weeks time and I got to play some of the ones that have yet to be released even to the members! Leon - from Fiji - is helping to mastermind the clubhouse and course. It's currently THE only 18-hole grass course in Oman.

There is a HUGE amount of construction going on around the course with new homes being built ... in 12 months time, the course and surroundings will be excellent.

Oh - the course is way to tough for me!

1400 - Head to the Oman Dive Centre and meet up with Seattle-born instructor Chad Zlateff. We zoomed 10 kms down the coast to play/scuba dive in a lovely area dominated by clown fish, parrot fish and amazing coral. This morning he saw dolphins, rays & turtles ... and whales come & go during the year. Oman is set to be one of the top dive areas on Earth ... and with 1700 kms of coastline, there's a great amount of diving to do!

THANK YOU Yousuf ... our fabulous guide!

Back to The Chedi to pack and check-out ... tonight I fly to Bangkok ... the boys follow tomorrow.

I love Oman! It's a place I would come back to holiday ... !
