Tim and James are my heroes. We filmed more footage in one day - ever - despite James getting to bed at 2 a.m. - after a rather eventful TWENTY HOUR ordeal which included incompetence, kindness (thank you Mr F) and an unbelievable sequence of ghastly events.

ANYWAY - today has been filming at Schloss Elmau day. The hotel has 130 rooms, FOUR spas, SIX restaurants, 1 concert hall, 2 libraries, 1 bookshop ... and 3 bars & lounges! HUGE! It's located 90 minutes drive south of Munich and up from Innsbruck.

We started cooking in the morning in Luce d'Oro - the Michelin starred restaurant with Executive Chef - Mario Corti. We cooked two dishes - turbot and venison ... both quite delicious.

Next up, the Chef Sommelier - Marie-Helen Krebs. She lives for wine ... and it shows. She has 600 labels, 7000 bottles ... and all are European! It's not that she doesn't like wines outside Europe, she just wants to focus on those wines for the hotel. She led me through 3 rather nice wines – two German and a delicious champagne.

After lunch, we filmed with the Executive Chef from the fine-dining Italian restaurant Fidelio – Gianni Tavaloro. We cooked a fabulous dessert which contained cherries and huge amounts of moscato!

All in all, a great days work ... well done boys!

The PR & Marketing Director - Dalia Banerjee and the GM - Nikolai Bloyd
Mario and Frank Linke - the Chef de Cuisine

Je t'aime Duval Leroy - Femme 2000 ...
